What to Pack for Your Nanaimo Vacation

Wondering what to pack for your trip to Nanaimo? Fortunately, planning is easy all year round, thanks to Nanaimo's mild climate. Dress in layers with a sweater and lightweight water resistant jacket. A couple of layers will get you through almost any day here, and heavy winter clothes are seldom required.

Summer heat comes early in Nanaimo - most days are hot and dry, with a light breeze off the ocean, through late August. Summers on Vancouver Island often extend into October, and you'll find yourself in a t-shirt and shorts for much of this season.
