This is the oldest (1894 over 115 years!) and largest 25,000+ people running event in the Nanaimo area. The VIEx Directors are proud to announce winning the BC Fairs and Ministry of Agriculture and Lands award for Best Evaluated Fair in 2009 - Winning the 2009 Silly Boat Regatta AND the 2009 Chamber of Commerce - office decorating contest! 2009 WAS A STELLAR YEAR!
