Destination Nanaimo

Jennifer is the Destination Marketing Coordinator for the City of Nanaimo’s Economic Development Office. She is responsible for developing the annual Destination Development marketing plan and strategy, with the goal of increasing tourism revenues within the community. She works with an advisory committee who provide input towards the strategy, and she oversees all projects within the plan, ranging from multi-media advertising to liaising with the travel trade and travel media writers.

Jennifer Ford holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management with a Major in Recreation Management, a diploma in Adult Education, a certificate in New Enterprise Management, and is currently completing her Masters of International Tourism.
