Tourism Nanaimo 2009 Map and Attractions Guide

 

In the past Tourism Nanaimo has produced an annual visitor’s guide.  However with the ever changing trends of the tourism industry the 2009 visitors’ guide has been broken into two separate and distinct publications that will be produced annually:

  • The Travel Planner and Accommodation Guide
  • Attractions and Map Guide

 

With a circulation of 120,000, the Attractions and Map Guide will be distributed extensively throughout Nanaimo as well as up and down Vancouver Island at other visitor centers.

 

A valuable resource and user friendly, the Attractions and Map Guide provides the visitor with detailed information on Nanaimo that includes editorial information and imagery, as well as advertisements that promote the products and services Nanaimo has to offer.  The guide will also include extensive mapping of the city.

 

Each new guide will also be displayed online at www.tourismnanaimo.com.  The interactive page-turning technology allows viewers to access an enhanced version of your ad with the option to visit your website.  Visited by more than 500 individuals per day, this popular site generates upwards of 1800 email inquiries annually, a number that continues to grow.
