Nanaimo is outfitted with several meeting space options. From arena space to fully equipped meeting rooms, you can find a meeting space to suit the group's needs. The new 38,000 square feet Nanaimo Convention Centre is scheduled for completion in June 2008 with capacity for 650 people.

Golf Courses:

Sports teams:

Nanaimo has a strong sport presence with many enthusiastic fans following. Nanaimo's Junior "A" hockey team, The Clippers posts their game schedule at Nanaimo Clippers. Shopping Centres:

Museums:

Walk through the coal mining exhibit as if you were in the mine itself, see artifacts and hear stories from the Snuneymuwx First Nations dating back over 2000 years ago. Nanaimo is home to the Hudson Bay Fort still standing and during the summer you can view a real live cannon firing! The museum is moving to its new location and scheduled to re-open summer of 2008.
