Destination Nanaimo, the tourism marketing arm of the City of Nanaimo, and Tourism Nanaimo are pleased to offer a number of support services to assist visiting and local members of the media. Destination Nanaimo offers services to assist out-of-town travel media, while Tourism Nanaimo provides local media support in the Nanaimo area.
Our goal is to develop long-term positive working relationships with writers, editors and producers who are interested in reporting on and sharing their travel experiences in Nanaimo travel with the rest of the world.
Our trained staff offers the following services to qualified media:

- Arrangements for complimentary or discounted accommodation and attractions

- Story ideas and access to contacts and resources
