Tourism Nanaimo's role is in the development of meetings, conventions, special events and sporting event business in Nanaimo and its surrounding areas. We work closely with hotels, sport/cultural facilities and members of Tourism Nanaimo to promote this city as a leading destination for meetings and events.

Tourism Nanaimo has a membership base of over 400, offering products and services to meet those needs that arise during the meeting planning process. We will provide event organizers with referrals for member organizations who can service the particular needs of an event.
