Follow the Yellow Point Road to our family-run cranberry farm, located just outside of Ladysmith, and home to Cranberry Cottage preserves. Situated in the scenic Yellow Point valley, our 43 acre farm and the surrounding countryside provide a refuge for you and your family or friends to get away from it all, enjoy some good walks and sample some great food.

If you are in the neighbourhood, drop by for our grand re-opening on May 1, 2008, where we will be offering a bountiful array of hanging flower baskets from our family’s greenhouses, as well our Cranberry Cottage preserves which will be available to sample or buy in our store. We produce over 20 specialty cranberry preserves from our farm fresh cranberries, from heirloom cranberry sauce to fusion salsa to our latest cranberry horseradish concoction coming this fall, we have something for everyone.

Throughout the year, Yellow Point Cranberries offers a variety of Cranberry Themed Special events. Join us in June, for the Cranberry Blossom Festival and in September, we host Happy Turkey Night, where guest chefs prepare twelve unique cranberry dishes for you to sample. September is also when our Second Annual Family Fun Day happens, which has many exciting activities for you and your family. Occasionally during harvest, we provide a Cranberry Afternoon Tea. From May to August, our days of operation are from Thursday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From September to December we are open 7 days a week 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Tours and Tour Packages

If you have ever wondered... where cranberries grow, what the difference is between "wild" and cultivated or how healthy cranberries are for you then a Yellow Point Cranberries Signature Taste Tour will be perfect for you!
You will receive a guided explanation of the development of cranberries from growth to harvesting including processing and tasting. All tours include a sampling of our specialty products. Don’t forget to visit the Cranberry Cottage Preserve Store after the tour and take home some of your cranberry favourites.

Cranberry Express Tour :
This tour is perfect for those who want to enjoy a visit to a working cranberry farm.

The Cranberry Enthusiast:
Are you fond of gardening and the outdoors? Do you enjoy learning about innovative farming practices and agriculture? This tour is for the guest who has lots of questions and is intrigued by the survival of the “family farm”.

The Cranberry Sampler:
This tour is for the guest that wants the total cranberry farm experience from bog to bottle.

The Cranberry Lover:
For those who genuinely love cranberries and want a nice relaxing experience with friends in the country.
Self-Guided Walking Tours are complimentary and are available from May to November. Guided Tours and Tour Packages are offered year-round and must be booked in advance.
